Or at least results are much more sensitive to its specification. Indeed, in equilibrium, the candidate wants to equalize the marginal return across all states, so small changes in the functional form or its parameters values can leads to reallocations across all 50 states. My state i...I have yet to see a presidential TV ad. My state is so safely Democrat that many do not even bother to vote. A direct vote would matter to them and could actually change outcomes.
