The university threatened to cancel all of its institutional subscriptions unless Elsevier allowed the university to drop about two dozen subscriptions (out of several hundred). Elsevier eventually backed down and permitted the cancellations.riverdawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17755556330695619625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159906646513306121.post-28107451679357748552009-05-11T10:39:00.000-07:002009-05-11T10:39:00.000-07:00Good grief, there are now 6 incriminated journals!...Good grief, there are now 6 incriminated journals!Economic Logicianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10171296292101248614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4159906646513306121.post-64804159405693648662009-05-11T10:26:00.000-07:002009-05-11T10:26:00.000-07:00there are more details here:

Elsevier sells journals "all or nothing" to libraries, forcing them to subscribe to junk. The Scientist has a pdf of a scan of a library copy of the incriminating journal, which I cannot find on ScienceDirect (probably pulled). This is sick.VIlfredonoreply@blogger.com
